Korres Watermelon Sunscreen SPF30

Summer is hitting hard in Dubai, and its only just June! I cant imagine how much worse its gonna be in August (actually no, i can, ive spent a gazillion summers in Dubai!).

I generally tend to go light with the makeup in summer, i run the risk of having it all melt off my face ! But something i do not ever skip on is my sunscreen - i tan very easily + its super harmful for the skin + we get the sun all year round. So today, im going to review one of the sunscreen i reach for the most often - the SPF30, silicon-free Korres Watermelon Sunscreen.

Firstly let me start by saying - i absolutely hate how most sunscreens smell - that heavy, sickly smell. So for me, the sweet scent of the Korres sunscreen is a pleasant change. However, i have read that some people tend to find this overbearingly sweet, but personally i dont think so. I have been using this product for a couple of months now, and it does not cause my skin to break out (yaay!) nor does it cause skin inflammation of any sort.

I apply the sunscreen as a base to my makeup, dabbing it all over my face with a light hand and lightly rubbing it into the face - it does not leave behind a heavy white cast and does not feel heavy on the skin. However, it did take a while to sink into my skin completely, so people with oily skin will find the product to be fairly greasy & heavy.

I would love to hear from you - what is you to-go sunscreen this summer ?

  1. I trust my Neutrogena sheer face sunscreen! It's very light and absorbs quick without making me oily. On the other hand, I'm hosting a giveaway on my jewelry blog and I'd love it if you could join ^^. http://purelejewelry.blogspot.com/
